Welcome to Kidu. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Kidu mobile application and website services. Please read them carefully before creating an account or setting up a family profile.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Kidu app, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Who Can Use Kidu

Kidu is intended for parents and guardians who manage school routines for children. Children should not create accounts, make purchases, or enter personal information on their own. If a child views the app, it should be with parent or guardian supervision.

3. Privacy & Data

We collect and process account data, child profile data entered by parents, uploaded schedules, extracted schedule information, homework/tasks, app settings, usage limits, and subscription status as described in our Privacy Policy. AI-generated schedule results may be inaccurate, so parents should review generated content before relying on it.

4. Subscription & Billing

Kidu may offer a free plan and a Premium subscription. Premium features are unlocked when the app store and RevenueCat report an active entitlement. Subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by App Store or Google Play according to the platform used for purchase.

5. Third-Party Content & YouTube API Services

Kidu links to and integrates YouTube videos and other educational resources via YouTube API Services. By accessing or viewing YouTube content within or through Kidu, users explicitly agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

We do not host or own third-party content and cannot guarantee its accuracy, availability, or suitability. Parents should supervise any external video or website viewing.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to bypass plan limits, reverse-engineer the service, upload unlawful or harmful content, interfere with our systems, or violate applicable laws. Accounts found in violation may be suspended or terminated.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of Kidu after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
