Delete Your Kidu Account
Kidu is intended for parents and guardians. You can delete your parent account and the family data linked to it at any time.
Delete your account in the app
The fastest way to delete your account is inside Kidu:
- Open the Kidu app.
- Go to Settings.
- Under Account, choose Delete Account.
- Follow the confirmation prompt and type the required confirmation word.
Once confirmed, Kidu permanently deletes your account and associated app data from our database.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address linked to your Kidu account:
Please include the subject line Kidu Account Deletion Request. We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request.
What data is deleted
Deleting your account removes the parent profile and associated family data, including child profiles, school schedules, homework records, tasks, preparation status, reminder settings, uploaded schedule records, and saved educational media references.
Limited retention
Some limited records may be retained only where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, billing records managed by App Store or Google Play, or backup integrity. Subscription cancellation and refunds are handled by the app store used for purchase.
